Με τη χάρη του Θεού και την πνευματική καθοδήγηση του Θεοφιλεστάτου Επισκόπου Αρούσας κ.  Uganda Orthodox Church - Holy Metropolis of Kampala 

Today's morning, the Divine Liturgy in honour of the "apodosis" (leave-taking) of the Dormition of Theotokos and St Irineos of Lyons was celebrated in the church of Pammakaristos - Wakiso as the parish observed their patronal feast. The eucharistic service was co-served by Reverend fathers; John Bbossa Kibuuka, Andonios Mutyaba, Stelios Kasule, Emmanuel Kiwanuka and Daniel Kiwanuka.

The parish of "Pammakaristos" which means All-Blessed Mother of God is located at Mpunga village in Wakiso Town Council and was started in 2008 by Fr Andonios Mutyaba Nkwanga and family, by the blessings of the late Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga.

La fête de la Dormition de la Sainte Vierge continue... Saint Archevêché de Kananga et du Grand-Kasaï

 Saint Archevêché de Kananga et du Grand-Kasaï/ Ιερά Μητρόπολη Κανάνγκας 

La fête de la Dormition de la Sainte Vierge continue. La Mère de Dieu la toujours Vierge Marie et notre Mère à tous. Femme voici ton fils et fils voici ta mère dit le Seigneur notre Dieu sur la croix. Ce mois d'Août est le mois de plus des bénédictions venant de son intercession auprès de son Fils. Notre église le 15 août après la messe solennelle à Mbala où le Temple lui est dédié, le soir de ce même jour à notre Cathédrale de Saint André nous avons procédé à l'office des vêpres accompagné de l'éloge funèbres à la très sainte mère de Dieu. Une litanie a été faite l'accompagnant en sa demeure. Que Dieu par l'intercession de sa toute sainte Mère nous accorde le salut.

Νεοφώτιστοι στην Ουγκάντα...

 Orthodox Diocese of Gulu and Northern Uganda 

On Sunday the 20th, the 11th Sunday of Matthew , it was a joyous day as the orthodox community of Acholi Nyek in Acholi Omoro District witnessed the day-opening of their temple which upon official consecration (to be communicated soon) with be dedicated to Saint Catherine of Egypt. The the opening and Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Nektarios was initially joined by other clergy in the Mystery of Holy Baptism which involved 40 young and adult converts.

We give glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because due to his love and Marcy for the Ekklesia, the mission is growing. Therefore keep our efforts in your prayers. Amen

The youth of the parishes meet at the Orthodox Teachers College for Youth open day and Symposium

His Eminence Archbishop Makarios today welcomed the youth of Kinoo parishes. The parish consists of five parishes, Archangel Micheal Kinoo, St. Luke Nyathuna, St. Spiridon Uthiru, Three Hierarchs Muthua, and St. James Kanyariri. The youth of the parishes meet at the Orthodox Teachers College for Youth open day and Symposium.. The Archbishop welcomed the youth of the parishes and encouraged them to continue their good work and asked the youth to continue with their zeal and determination. His Eminence spoke to the youth about how they have to encourage each other.

The Archbishop also asked the youth to continue a tradition that started when the Olympic Games started all those many years ago. The tradition that when it is almost time to start the Olympic Games, a torch is lit and it is carried by the youth to signify the togetherness of all the world and the coming together of all the people.

This light the youth have to carry, the light of Christianity, the light of being one, the light of togetherness and the Light of Orthodoxy.

It was such a wonderful day as our lecturers from the Orthodox Teachers college had lessons with all the youth, and also had games within the compound. Congratulations to the organisers for such a wonderful event.. All for the glory of God...

Το Πάσχα του καλοκαιριού στην Τανζανία - Ιεραποστολική Στέγη

 ΙΕΡΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΙΚΗ ΣΤΕΓΗ 

Με τη χάρη του Θεού εορτάσαμε και φέτος το Πάσχα του καλοκαιριού στο Ιεραποστολικό μας Κέντρο, στο Κινταμάλι της Ιρίνγκα. Κατά την ημέρα της εορτής τελέστηκε Αρχιερατική Θεία Λειτουργία προεξάρχοντος του Θεοφιλεστάτου Επισκόπου Αρούσας και Κεντρικής Τανζανίας κ. Αγαθονίκου, στην οποία συμμετείχαν όλοι οι κληρικοί της περιφέρειας Ιρίνγκα. Στο μέσον περίπου του Όρθρου έφτασαν στο Ναό όλοι οι Ορθόδοξοι μαθητές από το κοντινό Δημοτικό Σχολείο του Κινταμάλι και όλοι μαζί ψάλλαμε...

Το Πάσχα του καλοκαιριού στην Τανζανία - Ιεραποστολική Στέγη 

Εσπερινός και Λιτάνευση του Επιταφίου της Παναγίας στην Ζάμπια

Ο Πανηγυρικος Εσπερινός και η Λιτάνευση του Επιτάφιου της Πάνάγίάς μας στήν Ζάμπια.

Σε λαμπρή κατάνυκτικη ατμόσφαιρα εορταστικε η παραμονή της εορτής της Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου στην Μητρόπολη της Ζάμπιας.

Την Κυριακή 13 Αυγούστου το απόγευμα μετά τον εσπερινό και την αρτοκλασία ,στην ύπαιθρο, εψάλησαν τα Εγκώμια μπροστά στον ανθοστόλιστο Επιτάφιο, της Πάνάγίάς μας σε τοπικές διαλέκτους της Ζάμπια .

Εν συνεχεία ο Σεβασμιότατος Μητροπολίτης Ζάμπιας κ.Ιωαννης με την ευκαιρία της μεγάλης ημέρας της θεομητορικης εορτής χειροθετησε τρεις Αναγνώστριες (απόφοιτες της νοσηλευτικης.)για τις ανάγκες της εκκλησίας οι οποίες διακονουν στο ψαλτηρι και υπηρετούν το ιερό βήμα στην ιεραποστολή .

Ακολουθίες τελεστηκαν σε όλους τους Ναούς της Ζάμπιας
