"Today 25th March on the celebration of the Feast day of the Annunciation of the Theotokos, His Grace Bishop Silvester celebrated the #HolyLiturgy at the Annunciation Orthodox Parish in Nakyaka, Busoga Region Eastern Uganda and Present was also the Metropolitan of Kampala Archibishob Jonah Lwanga and other priests from the nearby parishes and the Orthodox faithful. His Grace explained the relevance of the feast of the Annunciation and urged the faithful to practice living a holy life like the Mother of God the ever virgin Mary. He thanked the Parish priest Father Steven Lunaagula and his team for the continuous devoutness in executing the work of our Lord in this area and he as well offered a small symbolic gift of love and appreciation to Metropolitan Jonah (a purple Omophorion) , whom he thanked for his personal help and advice towards the new Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda."
