CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Yesterday, 26 December, the St Nicholas Cathedral dean, Rev Fr Dr Nicholas Bayego served the children at their Christmas party which is held annually on the second day of the Nativity of our Lord, commonly known as "Boxing Day".
The celebration, which gathers children from the cathedral and other parishes around, was initiated by the late Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga. The Sunday School children actively participate in the entire Liturgy and then perform Christmas songs before they share a luncheon with the clergy and the rest of the parishioners. The best performers then embrace gifts from the archbishop.
