TEN NEW NUNS TONSURED IN KAMPALA METROPOLIS: TO GOD BE GLORY!

By invitation of Abbess Maria of St Mary of Egypt Monastery and blessings of Metropolitan Jeronymos of Kampala, His Grace Bishop Silvestros attended the clothing of ten nuns in the Monastery of St Mary of Egypt - Monde in Luweero district. The monastic tonsure which took place during the service of Great Vespers in the convent chapel was also attended by Metropolitan Innocentios of Sozusa and Bishop Nectarios of Gulu.

We pray that the Lord and Savior leads the new monastics in the upright way by the intercession of Theotokos and Ever-virgin Mary, and St Mary of Egypt whose memory we honour today.
