Ιερά Μητρόπολη Άκκρας - Holy Archdiocese of Accra Ghana
Ένα ακόμη δώρο της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας προς τον λαό της Γκάνα.
Πραγματοποιήθηκε σήμερα Τρίτη 7 Ιανουαρίου 2025, η προσευχητική τελετή εγκαινίων μιας ακόμα γεώτρησης νερού, στην περιοχή Gomoa Akropong, που προσέφερε η Αδελφότητα Ορθοδόξου Εξωτερικής Ιεραποστολής Θεσσαλονίκης.
Με την παρουσία του Αρχηγού της Κοινότητας και των "Γερόντων" συμβούλων του, ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Άκκρας κ. Δανιήλ ευλόγησε την δεξαμενή πόσιμου νερού που γεμίζει από την γεώτρηση.
Ο Μητροπολίτης ευχαρίστησε την Αδελφότητα Ορθοδόξου Εξωτερικής Ιεραποστολής Θεσσαλονίκης για την δωρεά της προς τους Γκανέζους αδελφούς μας, οι οποίοι πλέον θα λένε πως το νερό αυτό είναι προσφορά αγάπης της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας.
Επίσης ανέφερε πως η γεώτρηση αυτή που εγκαινιάζεται είναι θαύμα του Αγίου Πορφυρίου του Καυσοκαλυβίτου, διότι μετά από δύο αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες για την εύρεση νερού μέσα στο χωριό, την τρίτη φορά εψάλη η Ιερά Παράκληση του Αγίου Πορφυρίου και το νερό εκτοξεύτηκε!
Ο Αρχηγός της Κοινότητας συγκινημένος για το δώρο προς τους συμπολίτες του, ανέφερε πως η Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία είναι η μόνη Εκκλησία που είναι παρούσα και βοήθησε το χωριό, παρακαλώντας τον Σεβασμιώτατο να κτίσει κι άλλες Ορθόδοξες Εκκλησίες στην περιοχή του. Οι κάτοικοι του χωριού άρχισαν να πίνουν νερό ψάλλοντας την Μεγάλη Δοξολογία.

Another gift from the Orthodox Church to the people of Ghana.
Today, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the prayer ceremony for the inauguration of another water well, in the Gomoa Akropong area, offered by the Orthodox Missiinary Fraternity of Thessaloniki, took place.
In the presence of the Chief of the Community and the "Elders", His Eminence Metropolitan of Accra Daniel, blessed the drinking water tank that is being filled from the well.
Immediately afterwards, the ribbon of the inauguration was cut and started drink from the water, which as a gift from God will henceforth water "both people and animals", glorifying His Name.
The Metropolitan thanked the Orthodox Missionary Fraternity of Thessaloniki for its donation to our Ghanaian brothers, who will now say that this water is an offering of love from the Orthodox Church.
He also mentioned that this drilling that is being inaugurated is a miracle of Saint Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia, because after two failed attempts to find water in the village, the third time the Holy Paraklesis of Saint Porphyrios was chanted and water gushed out!
The Chief of the Community, moved by the gift to his fellow citizens, said that the Orthodox Church is the only Church that is present and has helped the village, begging His Eminence to build more Orthodox Churches in his area. The villagers began to drink water while chanting the Great Doxology.

Un autre don de l'Église orthodoxe au peuple du Ghana.
Aujourd'hui, mardi 7 janvier 2025, a eu lieu la cérémonie de prière pour l'inauguration d'un autre puits d'eau, dans la région de Gomoa Akropong, offert par la Fraternité missionnaire orthodoxe de Thessalonique.
En présence du chef de la communauté et des « anciens », Son Éminence le métropolite d'Accra Daniel, a béni le réservoir d'eau potable qui est en train d'être rempli à partir du puits.
Immédiatement après, le ruban de l'inauguration a été coupé et les gens ont commencé à boire de l'eau, qui, comme un don de Dieu, abreuvera désormais « les hommes et les animaux », glorifiant Son Nom.
Le métropolite a remercié la Fraternité missionnaire orthodoxe de Thessalonique pour son don à nos frères ghanéens, qui diront désormais que cette eau est une offrande d'amour de l'Église orthodoxe.
Il a également mentionné que ce forage qui est en train d'être inauguré est un miracle de Saint Porphyre de Kavsokalyvia, car après deux tentatives infructueuses pour trouver de l'eau dans le village, la troisième fois, la Sainte Paraclèse de Saint Porphyre a été chantée et l'eau a jailli !
Le chef de la communauté, ému par le cadeau fait à ses concitoyens, a déclaré que l'Église orthodoxe est la seule Église présente et a aidé le village, suppliant Son Éminence de construire davantage d'églises orthodoxes dans sa région. Les villageois ont commencé à boire de l'eau en chantant la Grande Doxologie.
