The Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana, is planning the launch of a one-year catechist training program aimed at developing lay leaders who will conduct catechism classes twice a month, culminating in a final seminar. This initiative seeks missionaries with theological training and classroom experience to help develop the program and curriculum, and to teach the catechists and lay leaders. Other responsibilities may include church activities such as youth and adult religious education.
