Μεγάλη Πνευματική Χαρά: Βάπτιση 7 Νέων Χριστιανών στην Άκκρα.

Με πνευματική χαρά και βαθιά συγκίνηση τελέστηκαν μέσα στην Θεία Λειτουργία το Σάββατο 14 Φεβρουαρίου 2026 τα Μυστήρια του Αγίου Βαπτίσματος και του Αγίου Χρίσματος επτά νέων χριστιανών από τη Γκάνα και την Λαϊκή Δημοκρατία του Κονγκό, στον Καθεδρικό Ιερό Ναό Μεταμορφώσεως του Χριστού Άκκρας.

Τα Μυστήρια τέλεσε ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Άκκρας κ. Δανιήλ, με τη συμμετοχή των Αιδεσιμότατων Ιερέων π. Αιδεσίου Mukeke Mabedi, π. Ιακώβου Daglas Larbi, π. Ιωσήφ Opoku Darko και του διακόνου π. Δημητρίου Abegya, μέσα σε ατμόσφαιρα κατανύξεως και ενθουσιασμού.

Οι νεοφώτιστοι, έπειτα από πολύμηνη κατήχηση και πνευματική προετοιμασία, ενδύθηκαν τον Χριστό και εντάχθηκαν στο Σώμα της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας ως τέκνα της πνευματικής Μητέρας στην Αφρική, του Πατριαρχείου Αλεξανδρείας και πάσης Αφρικής, προσφέροντας ζωντανή μαρτυρία ότι η Ορθόδοξη πίστη ριζώνει και καρποφορεί δυναμικά στην Δυτική Αφρική.

Great Spiritual Joy: Baptism of 7 New Christians in Accra.

With profound spiritual joy and deep emotion, the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Chrismation of seven new Christians from Ghana and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were celebrated during the Divine Liturgy on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Cathedral in Accra.

The Sacraments were officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Daniel of Accra, with the participation of the Reverend Fathers Aidesios Mukeke Mabedi, James Daglas Larbi, Joseph Opoku Darko, and Deacon Fr. Dimitrios Abegya, in an atmosphere of devotion and sacred enthusiasm.

After many months of catechesis and spiritual preparation, the newly illumined faithful were clothed in Christ and incorporated into the Body of the Orthodox Church as children of the spiritual Mother in Africa, the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa, offering a living testimony that the Orthodox faith is taking firm root and bearing abundant fruit in West Africa.

Grande Joie Spirituelle : Baptême de 7 Nouveaux Chrétiens à Accra.

Avec une grande joie spirituelle et une profonde émotion, les Sacrements du Saint Baptême et de la Sainte Chrismation de sept nouveaux chrétiens originaires du Ghana et de la République Démocratique du Congo ont été célébrés au cours de la Divine Liturgie, le samedi 14 février 2026, à la Cathédrale Orthodoxe de la Sainte Transfiguration du Christ à Accra.

Les Sacrements ont été célébrés par Son Éminence le Métropolite Daniel d’Accra, avec la participation des Révérends Pères Aidesios Mukeke Mabedi, Iakovos Daglas Larbi, Joseph Opoku Darko, ainsi que du diacre Père Dimitrios Abegya, dans une atmosphère de ferveur et de sainte émotion.

Après plusieurs mois de catéchèse et de préparation spirituelle, les nouveaux illuminés ont revêtu le Christ et ont été intégrés au Corps de l’Église Orthodoxe comme enfants de la Mère spirituelle en Afrique, le Patriarcat d’Alexandrie et de toute l’Afrique, offrant un témoignage vivant que la foi orthodoxe s’enracine et porte des fruits abondants en Afrique de l’Ouest.
