Yesterday, the Diocese of Mozambique was blessed by the gracious visit of Greek soldiers serving in the European Union Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM) in Mozambique, under the leadership of Major Kostas Panagiotopoulos. In a spirit of love and solidarity, they offered a generous donation of non-perishable food items to support those in need.
This noble gesture stands as a living testimony of the Gospel, echoing the words of our Lord: “For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink.” Through such acts of compassion, the light of Christ shines forth in the world, bringing hope and consolation to the vulnerable.
The Diocese expresses its heartfelt gratitude for this act of charity and prays that the Lord abundantly blesses and strengthens all those who serve with dedication and love for their fellow human beings.
