"Today as we commemorate Saint Stylianos, His Eminence Jonah presided over Holy Liturgy in the Village of Ngondwe – Wakiso district at the Orthodox Parish of St. Stylianos. This parish started as a community in 2016 with the guidance of Rev. Fr. Paul Kikulwe and it currently has more than 300 parishioners. Currently, Catechist Kyaki Ivan Geroge is helping with the catechetical work but the community has a big challenge of lacking a Nursery school (but foundation established) were the many children that worship from the parish can study from while maintaining their faith given the remoteness of the area. We glorify the name of our Lord and request for your ultimate prayers for the Orthodox Mission in Uganda."
