"Father Nicholas Julius Gichingiri Director of our St. John Orphanage,mission and school celebrated with the children, staff, priests, parents and guardians.
The kids had new shoes, clothes and very delicious meal.
How beautiful to see this happening in our diocese! On behalf of our children and entire group at this home, I would like to say, we are very thankful to all of you who donated to make today's occasional successful. If it were not for you nothing could happen. We have a wonderful family and soon we shall provide shelter. Everyone of you our friends of St. John orphanage has a special touch in the hearts of these needy children. Let us share the love of Christ with them, for in that they see the face and feel the hand of Christ touching them in every gift. It started with about 24 kids and now we have over 70 kids who are very needy.
