On Saturday, December 28, 2019, His Eminence Panteleimon, Metropolitan of Brazzaville and Gabon, arrived in the town of Dolisie where he performed the Baptisms of thirty catechists of all ages, from the Holy Parish Community of Saint Irene. Prior to the commencement of the Service of Catechism, His Eminence described and interpreted the stages of the fulfillment of the Sacred Sacrament and addressed paternal advice to the newly illumined who are now full members of the Church.
Immediately thereafter, a meeting was held with the Parish Priest, Fr. Paul Diafouka, and the housekeepers at the "Agios Efstathios" Orphanage of the Holy Metropolis, to whom instructions and exhortations were given.
In the afternoon, His Eminence had the pleasure of communicating with the children who are under the care of the aforementioned institution, for many hours, in which he talked about the theological message of the Nativity, while listening to their views and general concerns. The beautiful gathering was completed by offering sweets and soft drinks to the children.
On Sunday, 29 December, His Eminence Panteleimon will celebrate Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. Irene in Dolisie, meet the faithful and attend a meal devoted to honor His Grace, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Dolisie, Mr Bienvenu Manamika at his see.
