MASS BAPTISMS AT SAINT CATHERINE PARISH/ RWANDA: DECEMBER 17, 2022 [MORE PICTURES].

With the blessing of His Eminence Innocentios Byakatonda the Archbishop of Holy Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Burundi and Rwanda, Mass Baptisms were conducted on this Saturday, December 2022 at the Parish of Saint Catherine / Gishari - Rwanda. The co-celebrants were: Father Archimandrite Nectarios the Vicar General of the Orthodox Church in Rwanda, Father Panagiotis the Head Priest at Saint Mary Parish / Rwabutazi, Father Cosmas the Head Priest at Saint Mark Parish / Nyamasheke, Father Nicholas the Head Priest at the Parish of Saint Peter and Paul Apostles, Rwamagana our Headquarters, Father Theodoros the Head Priest at the local Parish of Saint Catherine / Gishari, Deacon Nectarios the Representative of the Parish of Saint John Baptist, Dmitri and George in Kaziba, assisted by Sub-deacon George Joseph SIBOMANA the Representative of the Parish of Saint Nectarios / Gashongora.

It's much a blessing for the Orthodox Church in Rwanda to receive more 200 new Church members from different Parishes and Church Communities who received the Sacraments of Initiation: Holy Baptism, Holy Unction / Confirmation, and Holy Communion.

May God continue to bless His flock as we prepare for the Greatest Feast of Nativity in flesh of our Lord and God Jesus Christ.
