Feast day of Saint Nicholas – Cathedral of Saint George, Cape Town

On Friday evening 4 December 2014, a Vespers Service was held in anticipation of the Feast Day of Saint Nicholas. This was followed by a a tea in the Church Hall to celebrate the Name Day of the Parish Priest, Reverend Father Nikolaos.
In his address after the Service, His Eminence Archbishop Sergios thanked Father Nikolaos for his support and for his tireless service to the community of Cape Town. He presented him with a cross which he had brought from a very old Monastery in Cyprus.



Father Nikolaos thanked the congregants for their support and gave special thanks to his family for their patience and understanding.
On Saturday 5 December, a Service of the Holy Eucharist was held to honour the Feast Day of Saint Nicholas.
