On Sunday the 22 February  2015 ( Sunday before the Feast day of the Sunday of Orthodoxy) Nicholas Esterhuizen, who has studied Orthodox Iconography prepared a presentation for the teenage Sunday school class about Icons. The teenagers learn’t something about the history of icons, symbols within icons, how to interpret icons and much more
The session was very interactive with many relevant questions being posed by the group. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and we would like to thank Nicholas for sharing his insight with the group.
