ELEVATION OF THE HOLY CROSS FEAST’S CELEBRATION IN RWANDA

 His Grace Innocentios, the Bishop of Orthodox Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda, celebrated the feast of Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Kirehe District, Eastern Province of Rwanda.
This day also was One Year Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Maximos in the office of priesthood, who is the parish priest of Saints John the Baptist, George, and Dimitrios Parish where held these Divine Services.
During this service, His Grace also lai...d hands on 6 new readers. Respectively, 4 readers who will be serving at Saints John the Baptist, George, and Dimitrios Parish at Kaziba and 2 readers who will be serving at the Saint Virgin Mary Parish at Rwabutazi.
After the services, the entertainments took place, including traditional dances and poems.
