RWANDA: ORDINATION OF A SUBDEACON AT NEWLY FOUNDED COMMUNITY OF GISHARI

During the Divine Liturgy of Sunday, 13th September 2015 at Gishari Sector in Rwamagana District, Eastern Province of Rwanda; His Grace Innocentios the Bishop of Orthodox Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda ordained reader Theodoros MUSONERA to the minor order of a Sub/Deacon.
While the Bishop was saying the Ordination prayers the congregation from this newly community was shouting Arakwiye (Axios)! This community was ...founded about 8 mouths ago; and the Diocese has managed to buy a land of over 4 hectors on the same ground where the Divine Liturgy took place. The people from that local area are planning to construct at least a semi permanent church for use while waiting the permanent one.
