"Today we celebrated divine liturgy at Makarios III seminary chapel.Today we also had memorial service of the late president and Archbishop MaKARIOS of Cyprus.whom during those colonial period was take to exile here in Mombasa Kenya after his release they meet with first president of Kenya mzee Jomo Kenyata and they became great friends for both were against the colonies.With that the Archbishop decided to initiator a seminary school here in Kenya for the African clergy and catechist also the The Orthodox College of Africa and Kinyanjui polytechnic School for the public use of the community .we also have saint clement primary school where we assist young children academically and the church sponsors their tuition uniform and food.All those institutions are of great help for Kenyans and theologians from all Africa.we pray for the soul of Archbishop Makarios III of Cyprus to rest in peace may his memory be eternal."
