"Today 8th Dec 2019 with the blessings of Archbishop Geronta /Elder Jonah Lwanga of Kampala, Christophoros Derick Muyingo been Ordained as Deacon by His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel of Kilikisiou and Polianis in Greece, Makedonia at the church of St. Dimitrios in Thessaloniki. In presence were, the abbot of chrysopigis Monastery, Archimandrite Efraim Panaousis who is his Spiritual father, Rev. Fr Bayego Nicholas, Rev. Fr. Kabuye Nektarios, the Diakonisa Luyiga Ruth and other Ugandans from Athens."
