Uganda Orthodox Church - Holy Metropolis of Kampala
Today, 6th December, His Grace Silvesteros Kisitu, led the celebrations as his mother parish observed the feast of its patron saint and protector of Kampala city, our father among the saints, Nicholas the Wonderworker, Archbishop of Myra of Lycia.
The diocesan of Gulu and Eastern Uganda dug out some brief history of the holy father Nicholas who was so generous that he was popularized in the western world as Father Christmas who brings presents to children.
