This morning His Eminence Archbishop Makarios presided over the Holy and Divine Liturgy at St. Sophia in Nakuru.. Today the Archbishop together with the priests of Nakuru were joined by Archimandrite John, Fr. Proterios and Fr. Methodios and the youth of Nakuru and some youth members from Githafai..

The Archbishop elevated Fr. Methodios to a Father Confessor, and made one Mzee from Githafai into a subdeacon, and three youth who are assisting him to become readers..

Today the youth had a fun day full of activities, and it was such a wonderful day. His Eminence was proud of the youth.. The Archbishop encouraged them to continue with the spirit they have and that the future of the Church is bright..
