The Divine Liturgy at Holy Resurrection Cathedral - Jinja, Uganda

 Uganda Orthodox Church - Holy Diocese of Jinja and Eastern Uganda 

The Divine Liturgy today at Holy Resurrection Cathedral - Jinja was served by Fr Joseph Panuha. Being the Sixth Sunday of Pascha, we commemorate the miracle of the man who was born blind but was healed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 9:1-38).

This miracle is a reminder that the Lord has anointed our eyes with his own divine hands and washed them with the waters of our baptism.

Jesus Christ opened not only the bodily eyes of the man born blind, but also the eyes of his soul. And for this he confessed to Jesus to be God who grants to all the great mercy.
