His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon met with the Governor of Pointe-Noire, Mr. Alexandre Honoré M’Paka, on 10th February 2016.
During the meeting His Grace gave an honorary plaque to the Governor expressing the gratitude of the local Church for the love and cooperation with the Governor himself and the general state officials whom he represents in the Administrative District of Kouilou (the administrative district of Pointe-Noire).
His Excellency Mr. M’Paka thanked the Bishop for his social work and the dynamic presence of the Orthodox Church in the Congo, adding the the state services will always support the Churches efforts. His Grace Panteleimon also gave him an icon of the Theotokos, as a blessing of the city. The meeting was covered by television crews.
