As He was on His pastoral work in Kenya; yesterday on May 9th, 2016 at around 7:30 pm; His Beatitude Theodoros II, The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa paid a surprise visit to the Patriarchal Ecclesiastical School: Makarios III of Cyprus. The spiritual Father of the entire Africa purposely came to greet, encourage and to bless the seminarians and staff of the seminary.
Since its opening in 1982, this patriarchal seminary has been enlightening students from al...l over the continent of Africa.

In His speech, H.B Theodoros addressed to the audience that His Office is going to start a new chapter or agenda in doing mission work in Africa. He continued saying that he future of Orthodox Church in Africa is in the hands of young African. “Study, Study, Study and Study”: said the Patriarch.
With a warm welcome, H.B Theodoros II was welcomed by H.E Makarios, H.G Innocentios of Burundi and Rwanda, Fr. Paul Mutaasa the Patriarchal Vicar of Uganda, Archimandrite Fr Philipos, Archimandrite Fr. Paneretos a Kenyan from Kikkos Monastery, among others.
