"Today through the blessings of Yieronda Archbishop Makarios, we did Liturgy, memorial service for our late Bishop Athanasios Akunda of Kisumu hence held first ever meeting of Diocesan executive committee and Vicars of vicarages in the Diocese of Kisumu and all Western Kenya on Diocesan issues at the Diocesan Cathedral Igonyi since the Departure of our late Bishop. All was well."
