December 2nd: It’s Giving Tuesday! A day, when many nonprofits will unite their voices and challenge us to a different approach to December buying frenzy. This Tuesday, let’s step back and consider not what we can get but what we can give. What is the greatest gift we can make to someone at a minimal cost? A shirt, a cell phone, an ipod or is it the opportunity for eternal salvation?
During the last 12 months, 1461 friends of the Mission supported the spiritual and charitable work of the Orthodox Church all over the world, thus giving the opportunity to those seeking Christ to discover him as their personal Savior and Redeemer. Thank you for this!
Without your help, the Orthodox Missions could not function. Missionaries could not travel to remote areas, oversee school operations, organize theological seminaries, operate clinics. Without your assistance, the soup kitchens for the poor and education grants would be past. Without your love, God’s word would not reach today to places where it was never heard before.
