"His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, today went to St. Tito Mukui to open the seminar for the Alter boys. We had a very large number of alter boys from different parishes within Kiambu coming to attend the seminar. His Eminence opened the seminar with encouraging words. The Archbishop spent most of the day with Alter boys and priests of Kiambu. He also gave gifts to the Alter boys and shared a meal with them. The boys from different parishes enjoyed the company of the Archbishop and sang songs and just had some fun before and after each lesson."
