"Through the blessings of H. B. Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and all Africa, Yieronda H. E. Archbishop Makarios of Nairobi visited the Diocese of Kisumu and all Western Kenya. With him we visited the family of the late Bishop Athanasios of Kisumu where he gave his condolences, we also visited the late Bishop Athanasios residence in kakamega hence back to the Diocese where he led the priests in doing trisajon for the late Bishop. All was good, we received condolences from Archbishop Jonah of Uganda and Archbishop Innocantios of Burundi and Rwanda. Many many years Yieronda."
