"The day started with a small safari. His Eminence Archbishop Makarios visited three schools in the area of Matindiri. First stop was the parish of St. Cosmas. His Eminence spoke to the teachers and students on the importance of education and also encouraged the teachers, and called them the heros. Teachers today have the one of the greatest jobs in moulding the next leaders of the nation and of churches. His Eminence also gave out small gifts to all teachers and students.."
