Anastasia Poulos of Saint Philothea Project is sponsoring a medical clinic for Father Mark Mwangi's Orphans & village. We are looking for other sponsors who would like to touch the lives of those who do not have access to medical care, with healing hands! A donation of $130 helps treat over 200 people in & around Father Mark Mwangi's Orphanage & village. Father Mark, with your help, organizes 6 doctors from the local hospital to come to his church. The money helps cover their... transportation, service & meds. They conduct several exams, including HIV testing, nutritional assessments & distribution of medications. Alone he can only afford 4 clinics per year & that DOES NOT treat everyone needing health care. Ideally we would like to sponsor one clinic per month. If anyone is interested in specifically donating the gift of health to our orphans, please let us know & we would be happy to organize one on your behalf! Our Medical Clinic has been rescheduled to Saturday October 24th, to coincide with the delivery of medications through the pharmacy. We want to ensure there will be enough medications available to disperse to all those treated. Father Mark Mwangi has informed me that he is coordinating to have a professional videographer present to document the events that day. An event of this magnitude takes a lot of coordination between many disciplinary teams. It takes all team players to come together to make this clinic a success! Please continue to stay tuned!
