"It was a glorious moment yesterday 6/01/2018 in the Land of Western Uganda, Ntungamo District in the Village of Rwemiriro, Rubaare Sub-county as His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah presided over the baptism of over 200 new coverts to the Orthodox Faith. This area was started in Mid-2017 by Rev. Fr. Aristo Asiimwe and there is a lot of plans to this area developed to the fullest. Other Clergy who also took part in fulfilment of this Sacrament was Rev. Fr. Paul Mutaasa the Vicar general, Rev. Fr. Anastasios Isabirye, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ssekyewa, Rev. Fr. Mutokya Joseph, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kiwanuka and Deacon Kamanya Emmanuel. Let’s put this community in our prayers."
