It is a very joyful tradition that after a mother has refrained from coming to church for 40 days following giving birth to a child,she and her child is received back into the community and prayed over .A profound joy emanates from the family and congregation when they are brought in and offered before God at His Holy Alter.
This happened today in St Irene when little Xenia and the mother we're received back in church after being away for 40 days...
This is the mother with seven children and is single and still jobless."
