"Today on the Ist day of the year 2020, His Grace Bishop Silvester presided over Holy Liturgy at St.Basil Orthodox Church in Gulu together with Priests of Gulu Deanary. Hundreds of Faithful turned up for today's feast of their patron Saint St. Basil the Great. The Bishop called all to imitate the love and faith of St.Basil the Holy Father who dedicated his life to our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching of salvation. The Bishop also wished to the faithful a blessed new year which he prayed it to be a year of spiritual revival, blessings and development both of the Orthodox Church, the whole society of Northern Uganda, and peace in the Country and the world at large.#happynewyear2020"
