"His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, travelled from Western Kenya to be at the parish in Mai Maihu for the mothers union celebration. His Eminence also made Fr. Makarios Dancun Kitagwa Mudaki into a Father Confessor. What an honour it was for Fr. Makarios. The Mothers Union added new members and what a blessing it was to have His Eminence be part of the celebration and the blessing of the head scarf which each Mother wears as a symbol, that they represent the Mothers U him of Kiambu and the Archdioces of Nairobi and most importantly the Orthodox church of Kenya."
