The Resurrection of the God Man was celebrated with devotion and spiritual joy in the capital Brazzaville, Congo. His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon celebrated the Divine Liturgy at midnight in the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord which celebrated its feast day.
During the Eucharistic Gathering, the Bishop preached the homily on the Resurrection. He also expressed his visions for the further development of the vacant Parish Community, while urging the faithful never to forget the contribution of the previous hierarchs, priests, missionaries, as well as those of the donors and benefactors of the ecclesiastical work, praying always for them.
In conclusion he expressed the gratitude of the local Church to the Honourable Mr. Seraphin Bhalat, Adviser to the President of the Republic of the Congo, Chairman of the Parish Community of Brazzaville and Member the Diocesan Council, as well as to the Honourable Mr. Nicholas Perris, unpaid Consul General of Greece in the country, for his multiple benefactions to the local Church.
