"Today we rode 67Km and visited St. Anthony The Great primary school. This community school was given to Orthodox Chruch to take care of in this one community that changed to Orthodoxy in 2015. We gave school supplies to the children whom many didn't have note books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, school rulers and school bags and they write on the ground with their fingers. Special thanks to Dn. Jake Jacob and the Knanaya Young Adults Fellowship for their service project to helps these students in this village in Uganda. We also gave the teachers, clothes that were donated by faithfuls in America and special appreciation goes to Sarah Anderson and her husband Mark Chenowich, for donating the clothes. The children are so happy for soccer ball donated by Fr. Chad Hatfield last year when he visited the school together with Cornelius David Schuster. The soccer ball made the children participate in Coca Cola tournament and they became champion who won the troopy in the sub_county level and they are so proud of their school now despite a lot of needs in the school this semester."
