"After the divine liturgy, we had some celebrations from the parishioners. Songs and a little but of dancing to celebrate the consecration of the Church. After we had the cutting of the ribbon and cutting of cake to make the day complete. His Eminence Archbishop Makarios with the sponsors of the Church were honoured and presented with flowers from the parishioners. With our visiting Bishops they were adorned in Maasai shukas, the Maasai blanket as gifts from the people."
