"THE FIRST LITURGY AT RUMONGE PROVINCE IN THE SOUTH OF BURUNDI / Premier liturgie en province de Rumonge au Sud du Burundi
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and, I am with you always, to the close of the age” Mt 28: 18 - 20
With the blessing of His Grace Innocentios Byakatonda, the Bishop of the Orthodox Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda on this Sunday 1st July 2018 Father Dimitrios Placide NTAHONSHIKIYE celebrated the 1st Solemn Divine Liturgy in a new community located in Rumonge province in the south of Burundi. It was a great event for us and for the 1st faithful baptized and for the whole community in that area. Children, youth and adult people came to assist and to see how orthodox Divine Liturgy is celebrating. It was a wonderful and joyful day ever the hard trip/voyage. May God bless always his people!!!!"
