Potable water pump in Ntcheu district, Malawi

Ntcheu is a district in Central Region, Malawi, covering an area of 3,500 km² and inhabited by 475,000 people. The Orthodox missionary group in Malawi has reached out to the region for years. Particularly, at a remote village, there are many baptized Orthodox Christians already, as well as a seminarist.
The lack of clean water supply made our missionaries to set up a water pump for all people nearby. This pump will quench their thirst and will provide them with water to wash, to bring to their huts, to serve their needs and give glory to God for his benefactions.
The pump was constructed in June 2014 by vertical drilling. We are grateful to the donor, who funded this Project.
