On Wednesday the 5th August 2015; the Orthodox Church in Rwanda in collaboration with the Office of Ombudsman were in the Anti-Corruption Campaign in Kigabiro Sector in Rwamagana District of Eastern Province. During this campaign the club "Umuhuza" and "Abatarutinya Orthodox cultural group gave their messages through traditional dance, songs, and sketch entertaining the audience of over 500 people who were present. In His speech, His Grace Innocentios the Bishop of Orthodox Church in Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda gave thanks to the Government of Rwanda about Its good collaboration, and emphasized on the role youth in eradicating corruption. "Igiti kigororwa kikiri gito"!: He said in Kinyarwanda. The Delegate of the Office of Ombudsman, Madam Tarsila Kayumba in charge of Anti-Corruption Clubs said that the Office of Ombudsman will continue to support the youth initiatives about Anti-Corruption. She also appreciated the initiative of the Club Umuhuza and advised them to spread the anti-corruption messages in their families and in schools.
