A DAY OF JOY IN DOLISIE

On the morning of 15th January 2016, His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon went to the “St Efstathios” Orthodox Orphanage in Dolisie, where he had the joy of meeting with the children there, and gave them toys and sports clothing for the new year, as well as foodstuff kindly donated by the faithful of the Cathedral of St Dimitrios in Pointe-Noire; They were also given stationary for school, generously sent by the active Manna Cultural Society of Syros.
He then met with the teachers of the “Light of the Nations” Orthodox School and exchanged festive greetings with them. A pleasant surprise was the unexpected visit by the work inspectors
Miete Likibi and Younga Noel who, having completed their service inspection of the school complex, the contracts of the teaching staff, the insurance contributions of the staff and the general application of such relevant provisions, expressed their complete satisfaction for the adherence thereto and congratulated the local Church on the refurbished premises.
A lengthy collaboration followed with the Reverend Priest Fr. Paul Diafouka, Parish Priest of the Holy Parish of St Irene in Dolisie and Director of the Orphanage, after which His Grace departed by road for the See of the Holy Diocese in Pointe-Noire.
