The Birth of the God-Man was celebrated in piety and spiritual gladness at the Holy Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in Brazzaville. His Grace Panteleimon Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon conducted the Divine Liturgy at midnight, during which the Patriarchal Message of the Venerable Primate of the second throne Church of Alexandria, His Beatitude Theodoros II, was read.
Prior to the end of the Ecclesiastical Gathering, the Chairman of the Parish Council, Mr. Seraphin Bhalat, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Congo, expressed the gratitude of the faithful on the pastoral visit of the Bishop to the capital of the country. His Grace then gave gifts to all the children and attended a festal dinner which the Parish Council hosted for the congregation in the Church yard.
