"After the funeral service in Naivasha, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios travelled back to Nairobi for a function at St. Clement Primary school. We have been having a seminar for young youth and young mothers of the area. Some youth are Orthodox and from other denominations. We have an American team sponsored by OCMC in America with us, who have been teaching the youth and the young mothers. His Eminence came to blessed the youth with some small gifts and to anoint them with the Holy oil. The Archbishop later asked the young mothers to follow him to his house where he gifted each young mother with a box of clothes for their babies. A busy day and a blessed way to end with service of great vespers and outoclasia, in preparation for tomorrow's liturgy and in remembrance of St. Nicholas."
