O Επίσκοπος κοντά στα απομακρυσμένα παιδιά του!
Μετά από τρίωρο ταξίδι μέσα στην βροχή και σε απόσταση 140 χιλιομέτρων από την πρωτεύουσα Άκκρα, ο Σεβασμ. Μητροπολίτης Άκκρας κ. Δανιήλ πραγματοποίησε σήμερα, Κυριακή 13 Οκτωβρίου 2024, ποιμαντική επίσκεψη στην μικρή Ορθόδοξη Κοινότητα του Αγίου Αποστόλου Παύλου στο χωριό Peki Avetile, που βρίσκεται στα παράλια της λίμνης Volta, σε απόσταση αναπνοής από την γείτονα χώρα του Τόγκο.
Στον Ιερό Ναό Αποστόλου Παύλου τελέσθηκε Αρχιερατική Θεία Λειτουργία, με την συμμετοχή των Αιδεσιμ. Πρεσβυτέρων π. Ιωσήφ Opoku Darko, εφημερίου της Κοινότητας, και π. Αιδεσίου Mukeke.
Ο Σεβασμιώτατος συναντήθηκε με όλους τους Ορθοδόξους της περιοχής και τους μετέφερε τις πατρικές ευχές και ευλογίες του Πάπα και Πατριάρχου Αλεξανδρείας και πάσης Αφρικής κ.κ. Θεοδώρου.

The Bishop close to His Distant children!
After a three-hour journey in the rain and covering a distance of 140 kilometers from the capital city of Accra, His Eminence Metropolitan Daniel of Accra made a pastoral visit today, Sunday, October 13, 2024, to the small Orthodox Community of Saint Apostle Paul in the village of Peki Avetile, located on the shores of Lake Volta, near the neighboring country of Togo.
Lake Volta brings life, economic development, and livelihood to the inhabitants of the surrounding area through its abundant fishing, livestock farming, and timber from the dense, lush, virgin forests that encircle it.
An Archiepiscopal Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Church of Apostle Paul, with the participation of the Reverend Priests Fr. Joseph Opoku Darko, the community's priest, and Fr. Aidesios Mukeke.
His Eminence met with all the Orthodox faithful in the region and conveyed the paternal greetings and blessings of His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria and All Africa.

L'Évêque Près de Ses Enfants Éloignés !
Après un voyage de trois heures sous la pluie et une distance de 140 kilomètres depuis la capitale Accra, Son Éminence le Métropolite Daniel d'Accra a effectué aujourd'hui, dimanche 13 octobre 2024, une visite pastorale à la petite communauté orthodoxe de Saint Apôtre Paul dans le village de Peki Avetile, situé sur les rives du lac Volta, à proximité du pays voisin, le Togo.
Le lac Volta apporte la vie, le développement économique et les moyens de subsistance aux habitants de la région environnante grâce à la pêche abondante, à l'élevage de bétail et au bois provenant des forêts vierges denses et verdoyantes qui l'entourent.
Une Divine Liturgie archiépiscopale a été célébrée à l'Église Saint Apôtre Paul, avec la participation des Révérends Pères Joseph Opoku Darko, curé de la communauté, et Aidesios Mukeke.
Son Éminence a rencontré tous les fidèles orthodoxes de la région et leur a transmis les salutations paternelles et les bénédictions de Sa Béatitude le Pape et Patriarche Théodore d'Alexandrie et de toute l'Afrique.
