On 23rd April 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, arrived in Dolisie, where he performed the baptisms of newly-enlightened Christians of all ages, at the outdoor baptistery of the Holy Parish Church of St Irene. He addressed paternal prayers and advice to these new members.
He then had a lengthy collaboration with the administrative staff of the Orthodox School, “Light of the Nations”, to whom he gave a new colour printer and digging equipment for the maintenance of the cleanliness of the environment.
In the afternoon he held a long meeting and discussion with the children of the “St Efstathios” Orthodox Orphanage, to whom in view of the feast of Pascha, His Grace gave new clothes, underwear and shoes.
The day ended with a supper which was kindly hosted in honour of His Grace, in the home of the Director of the Orthodox School in Dolisie, Mr. Jean Claude Tsilimbou, with the participation of the Parish Priest Fr. Paul Diafouka, the Chairman and members of the Church Council of the Holy Church of St Irene and other beloved friends.
