It was joy and happiness yesterday at St Nicholas Cathedral as the new Bishop of Gulu and Northern Uganda, His Grace Nektarios Kabuye was being received by the Orthodox faifthfuls. These were led by Metropolitan Jeronymos of Kampala alongside Bishop Silvesteros of Jinja and Metropolitan Innokendios of Burundi & Rwanda.
Bishop Nektarios was too much appreciative of the love which he was shown at the parish which nurtured is monastic journey. He said that he will be eager to receive every kind of idea that would develop Orthodoxy in the Diocese of Gulu and Uganda at large. Each of the other bishops emphasized love as the nucleus of development as commanded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 15:12).
