Feast of Saint Nicholas was celebrated in Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia

With the blessings of Archbishop Ioannis of Zambia. St Nicholas parish in Kapiri Boshi cerebrated the memory of Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra in Lycia at Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia Patron Saint of the parish.

Divine Services were conducted that included Sunday Orthros, Divine Liturgy and the Service of Artoclasia. Chanting Orthodox hymns in Bemba the local language which is mostly spoken in Zambia

The St Nikolas Temple was built 55 years ago by the Palamidis family, remained closed for many years and was later occupied by Protestant denominations.
