CELEBRATION OF BISHOP SILVESTER'S NAME-DAY IN NAMAYINGO

 Uganda Orthodox Church - Holy Diocese of Jinja and Eastern Uganda 

Today, His Grace Bishop Silvestros celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Resurrection - Buhemba Parish, Namayingo district, to honour the memory of his patron saint, Silvester Pope of Rome.

His Grace was joined by Archimandrite Prodromos Lubega, Fr. Chrysostomos Koolya, Fr. Josephat Ojiambo and Hierodeacon Mateja.

In a special way, His Grace welcomed the presence of Titular Metropolitan Innocentios of Sozusa.

May the Lord preserve our Shepherd and grant him to His Holy Churches in peace, safety, honor, and health, unto length of days, rightly teaching the word of His truth.
