"Today was our team’s first day at the Makarios Children’s Home and school in Nyeri, Kenya. It is under the the guidance of His Grace, Bishop Neofitos Neo, of the ORTHODOX DIOCESE OF NYERI AND MT KENYA. It was a beautiful day spent teaching the children Bible stories, Holy Week traditions at our church, doing crafts, playing games, and just loving the kids. The teachers, clergy, and staff were all amazing. We return tomorrow, God willing, and we will see what God has in store for all of us!"
