"This is Father Amphilochios Fredrick Kaloki parish priest of St. Lazarus Mwingi the furthest of the parishes of our diocese. Life is very very difficult here, it is a desert just like Saint Nina orphanage at Marimanti because they border each other.
Due to very very difficult challenges brought by Covid -19 and drought at the same time, farming here is not possible. Father and his papadhia, out of love and mercy have decided to be offering children a meal after church (Liturgy) to enable them have the strength to walk back home. Most of them walk long distances to church and most at times kids get overwhelmed at church with hunger and starvation. You cant see a river flowing in this area. Water is also a serious serious problem. It is dust dust dust all through!!
Kindly dont give up on helping and I really want to thank you all because of your support and donations because your hand that giveth has reached and blessed these children and the church in the desert of Mwingi. We thank God for you from the bottom of our hearts. Have a blessed new year to all.
