19 young and adult catechumens were baptized at Holy Unmercenaries Parish in Budhebera, Mayuge, Uganda

MYSTERY OF HOLY BAPTISM AT HOLY UNMERCENARIES - MAYUGE

By the grace of God, a total of 19 young and adult catechumens were baptized at Holy Unmercenaries Parish in Budhebera, Mayuge Town. The service was performed by the Vicar General, Fr. Chrysostom Koolya yesterday , 1 September 2024, during the Divine Liturgy on the feast of the Beginning of the New Church Year.

Fr. Chrysostom urged the parents and Godparents of the newly-baptized to set a good spiritual example for their children, enable them keep the wedding garment (received through the grace of Baptism) clean for, "many are invited but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14).
